Just because cookies don’t have flour, and butter, for that matter, it certainly doesn’t mean that they can’t be decadent and delicious. Honestly, if we didn’t tell you that these are flour and butter free, we doubt you would even realize it. They are super fudgy, with crispy edges, and seriously addicting. They’re also so simple to make, so we really don’t know why you haven’t started whipping them up yet.
What You Need
2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
4 large egg whites, cold
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
cooking spray
What To Do
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and grease lightly with your cooking spray.
In a big bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa, and salt.
Add in the egg whites and vanilla and then mix in the chocolate ships.
If you prefer shinier cookies, let the batter rest at room temp for about 20 minutes.
After letting the batter rest, place tablespoon sized scoops on the baking sheets. You can choose to top them off with flaky salt as well.
Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are set.
Allow the cookie to cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes and then transfer them onto a cooling rack using a spatula.
Allow the cookies to cool completely and then enjoy.
